Short answer: Registered businesses (veterinary practices, retailers, groomers and other pet-care businesses, and distributors) can apply to stock Petdentist® products. You apply through our contact page, we verify your business, and you receive our trade price list and terms under a confidentiality agreement. Once your first order meets the minimum, it ships from the UK or the UAE. Every stockist receives compliance-checked product copy, imagery, training and point-of-sale materials. We do not publish trade prices.
Why stock Petdentist®
Petdentist® specialises in one part of the body: the mouth. The brand was founded in 2015 by Dr Deepak Songra BDS, a human dental surgeon with more than 30 years of clinical practice, and sells in the UK and the UAE through its own stores and its listings on Amazon UK, Amazon.ae, eBay UK and Noon.
The range is built as a routine rather than a shelf of one-off products, which makes it easy to explain and natural to recommend together: pet toothpastes, including Petsmile® Professional Pet Toothpaste, which we distribute officially and which carries the Veterinary Oral Health Council seal for plaque in dogs; bamboo toothbrushes and finger brushes; textured wipes; daily dental powders; a tasteless water additive; dental toys; and kits.
The category is growing. Mordor Intelligence values the global pet oral-care products market at US$3.24bn in 2026, rising to US$4.43bn by 2031, with online channels taking 36.7% of revenue. The UK has around 15.5 million dogs and 13 million cats (UK Pet Food, January 2026), and the UAE's pet population reached 938,000 in 2024, with cats outnumbering dogs by about two to one (USDA Foreign Agricultural Service).
Recent recognition includes Best Pet Dental Care Products Supplier 2025 (Southern Enterprise Awards) and Best Pet Dental Care Products Retailer & Supplier 2026 (SME Dental & Oral Health Awards). All awards.
Who can apply
- Veterinary practices, usually through a PetdentistPro™ professional account, which also opens clinical resources, client hand-outs and samples.
- Retailers: independent pet shops, pet-store groups and online retailers trading from their own websites.
- Groomers and pet-care businesses that want to offer home-care products to their clients.
- Distributors, by territory: the United Kingdom, the UAE and the wider GCC today, and other territories by enquiry. We expand market by market, because each one needs its own regulatory route, labelling and after-sales support.
Every applicant must be a registered business. If you are buying for your own pets, our country stores are the place to shop.
How it works
- Apply. Email [email protected] or use our contact page, with the details listed at the end of this page.
- Verification. We confirm that you are a registered business (for example, company registration and VAT or UAE tax registration), check professional registration for veterinary practices, and look at where and how you sell.
- Price list and terms. Once you are verified, we share our trade price list and terms under a simple confidentiality agreement.
- First order. A minimum order applies. It is set out in your terms, and can differ by territory and type of business.
- Dispatch. Orders ship from our third-party warehouse in Northampton for the UK, or from Dubai for the UAE and the wider GCC.
- Onboarding. Your account comes with product copy, imagery, training and point-of-sale materials.
What you receive
- Compliance-checked product copy for your website, marketplace listings and shelf, written for the UK and the UAE and reviewed before release.
- Approved imagery and brand assets: product photography, and logos from our master files. Logos are never recoloured, redrawn or stretched.
- Training for your team on the Petdentist Daily System (Clean, Support, Maintain, Monitor, Professional Care), on species safety (cats are not small dogs) and on talking about oral-care products within the rules. Veterinary teams can also use the Petdentist Academy.
- Point-of-sale materials: shelf cards, routine leaflets and display guidance, reviewed like everything else.
- Support after the sale: one inbox for orders, questions and product-quality reports, which are logged and investigated under our quality system.
Selling within the rules
Pet oral-care products are closely regulated, and the rules apply to how a product is presented wherever it is sold. On 14 January 2026 the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate published updated guidance on advertising non-medicinal veterinary products, after more than 400 enforcement reports in the previous year. Such products may be presented only as maintaining health in healthy animals; "natural" products have no exemption; and product names, packaging imagery, testimonials and cited research all count as advertising.
In the UAE, veterinary products are governed by Federal Law No. 9 of 2017 and Cabinet Resolution No. 9 of 2020, now joined by Federal Decree-Law No. 21 of 2025, and pet food and feed imports need registration and import approval from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE).
That is why our copy uses everyday hygiene language: "helps reduce plaque build-up", "helps keep tartar from building up", "freshens breath", "supports healthy gums", "cleans along the gumline", and a "serving" by body weight. If you write your own descriptions, keep to the same standard: never link a product to a named disease, and never suggest it replaces veterinary care. We are happy to check your copy before it goes live.
Territory and marketplace policy
- Authorised sellers only. Petdentist® products may be listed on Amazon, Noon, eBay or any other marketplace only by sellers we have authorised in writing, using our approved content.
- Your territory, lawfully. Sell within the territories in your agreement, and never into a market where a product is not registered or available.
- Products as supplied. No relabelling, repackaging, splitting of packs or changes to claims.
- The brand stays with Petdentist®. Distributors do not own the brand, its trade marks or its marketplace listings, and exclusivity is not granted as standard.
- Pricing. You set your own resale prices. Where the law allows, we may publish advertised-price guidelines.
We may review an authorisation if this policy is not followed.
Quality and sustainability
Pet Dentist L.L.C-FZ is certified to ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 22000 (food safety) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). Products are traceable by batch, anything made for cats excludes ingredients unsuitable for them, and nothing in the range contains xylitol. Quality and standards.
On sustainability we make specific claims only: our toothbrushes and brush case use bamboo, and our environmental management is certified to ISO 14001. We will not call a product "eco-friendly" without lifecycle evidence, and we ask stockists to follow the same rule. Our sustainability commitments.
Helping your customers with home care
The best stockists do more than sell a tube of toothpaste; they help a pet parent start a routine that lasts. Point customers to one simple plan: clean along the gumline daily with a brush or wipe, add a serving of dental powder over food, keep a water additive in the bowl, lift the lip once a week, and book a veterinary dental check at least once a year. Our daily routine guide sets it out step by step.
Keep the boundary clear, too. If a customer describes a problem in their pet's mouth, the right answer is always the vet.
When to see your vet
If you notice loose or wobbly teeth, swelling, discharge, bleeding that does not settle, reluctance to eat, dropping food, drooling, pawing at the mouth or any change in behaviour, please contact your veterinary surgeon promptly. Home care supports professional care — it never replaces it.
