PetdentistPro™ — Education today for healthier tomorrows

Three ways to work with us

1. Open a professional account for clinical resources, client hand-outs, samples and the Petdentist Academy. PetdentistPro™

2. List your practice so pet parents looking for dental care can find you. Petdentist CLINICS

3. Stock or distribute Petdentist® products in your market. Wholesale and distribution

Short answer: Veterinary teams, groomers, breeders and retailers open a PetdentistPro™ account for clinical resources, client hand-outs, samples and CPD-style learning. Veterinary practices can apply to be listed on the Petdentist CLINICS directory. Retailers and distributors apply for wholesale supply. Everything we give professionals is compliance-reviewed and evidence-graded, and we never diagnose: we refer to veterinary surgeons.

Why it matters

Pet parents take their lead from you

Dental disease is common in the pets you see every day. Royal Veterinary College VetCompass studies found periodontal disease diagnosed in 12.5% of UK dogs (2021) and 15.2% of UK cats (2023) in a single year. On a dog's or cat's teeth, soft plaque can begin to harden into tartar within about 48 to 72 hours, so what happens at home between visits matters.

Pet parents look for that advice from professionals they already trust: in the consulting room, on the grooming table, at collection from a breeder or at the shop counter. Our job is to make it easy to give, accurate, and consistent from one professional to the next.

How we work with you

Materials you can use as they are, from a partner who knows the rules

On 14 January 2026 the UK Veterinary Medicines Directorate published updated guidance on advertising non-medicinal veterinary products, after more than 400 enforcement reports in the previous year. Product names, packaging imagery, testimonials and cited research all count as advertising. That is why everything we give professionals is reviewed before it reaches you.

Partnership standards

What we ask in return

A specialist brand is only as trustworthy as the people who recommend it. We ask every professional partner to keep to five simple standards, the same ones we hold ourselves to.

Our quality and standards

  1. Describe products in the everyday hygiene terms we supply, such as "helps reduce plaque build-up", "freshens breath" and "supports healthy gums", and never link a product to a named disease.
  2. Refer any animal with a problem in the mouth to a veterinary surgeon.
  3. Keep dog and cat products apart: cats are not small dogs.
  4. Leave scaling to veterinary practices. The American Animal Hospital Association's 2019 dental guidelines describe anaesthesia-free cleaning as "not appropriate".
  5. Sell only in markets where a product is registered and available, and only through authorised channels.

Questions people ask

Frequently asked questions

How do I open a professional account with Petdentist®?

Email [email protected] or use our contact page with your name, role, business or practice details and what you need. We check that you are a registered business or a registered professional, then open a PetdentistPro™ account with access to clinical resources, client hand-outs, samples, Academy modules as they open and wholesale supply. We aim to reply within one working day.

Do you only work with vets?

No. We work with veterinary surgeons, nurses and practice teams, groomers and pet-care businesses, breeders and rescues, retailers, distributors and equine professionals. Each gets materials suited to their role, and all of them share the same boundary: we never diagnose, and anyone with a concern about an animal's mouth is referred to a veterinary surgeon.

How can my practice appear on Petdentist CLINICS?

Petdentist CLINICS runs the petdentalclinics.com directory, which helps pet parents find veterinary practices offering dental care. Practices can apply for a verified profile, and the Petdentist CLINICS page explains how. Petdentist® does not provide veterinary services itself, so the directory exists to send pet parents to practices like yours.

Can I use your materials in my own marketing?

Yes. Stockists and professional account holders can use our approved product copy, imagery and client hand-outs, which are reviewed against UK VMD, UK advertising and UAE rules. If you adapt them, keep to the same standard: describe products in everyday hygiene terms, never link a product to a named disease, and send us your draft if you would like it checked.

Can I become a Petdentist® distributor?

Yes, if you are a registered business able to handle registration, compliant labelling and after-sales support in your territory. We supply the UK, the UAE and the wider GCC today, and consider other territories by enquiry. Our wholesale and distribution page explains verification, trade terms and our marketplace policy.

Do you offer CPD for veterinary teams?

The Petdentist Academy, part of PetdentistPro™, offers CPD-style learning modules designed to support your own CPD record. We do not describe any module as accredited; if a module gains formal accreditation, the accrediting body will be named on it. Modules are built around home-care coaching, species differences, the evidence behind oral-care ingredients and the rules for describing non-medicinal products.
